Introducing Body After Baby

Introducing Body After Baby

BODY AFTER BABY IS HERE!!!

After struggling with one-size-fits-all programs after having Savannah, I realized there was a lack of information and support for women working to get their body's back after having a baby. I decided to create a program that would not only help postpartum mamas with healing diastisis recti, strengthening the pelvic floor, and tightening the core but would also teach them about nutrition that is breastfeeding friendly AND connect them with other mamas working towards similar goals for encouragement and motivation.

Diastisis Recti

Diastisis Recti

Let's talk Diastisis Recti! Diastisis Recti is just a fancy name for a condition in which the large abdominal muscles separate. It happens most commonly during pregnancy as the uterus expands to make room for the baby, but can happen from stomach surgery, rapid weight gain and other causes. The condition cannot be cured but is treatable through proper exercises to help heal and strengthen those muscles and closes the gap.
Diastisis Recti is pretty simple to self-diagnose. Lay on a flat surface with your knees bent and pulled in and back flat, as if your are going to do a crunch. Gently lift your head two or three inches off of the ground and place your hand in the center of your stomach. You will feel the space between your abdominal muscles. One finger separation is a normal amount of space. Anything more than that signifies Diastisis Recti.

After having Savannah, the separation of my abdominal muscles was pretty severe. Since I had a c-section, my abdominal muscles were pulled apart to a greater degree and much more unnaturally than they would have been if I would have been able to have a vaginal delivery. I wore a postpartum girdle for about 6 weeks to help with pulling my muscles back together since I was very sore and my muscles felt weak. Once I started working out again, I was careful to focus on core exercises that would help heal my Diastisis Recti and not make it worse. Yes, you can make it worse through improper exercises, specifically crunches and sit ups which can put too much pressure on the muscles if they are not healed properly and cause them to pull further apart.

What started as a gap that I could fit 4 of my fingers between and push down about two inches deep [which totally freaked me out by the way] has now closed to about one and a half fingers and can only go about one half inch deep. I must say that I have seen the greatest results in just the last two weeks since starting my new fitness program.

Postpartum mamas, have you checked for Diastisis Recti before starting your fitness routines? Here are my top 3 exercises for engaging the core properly to heal this condition.

FLOOR BRIDGE

Lay flat on the floor with your knees bent and pulled towards your butt, like in a crunch position. Keep your arms flat by your side for stability. Lift your butt off of the ground and squeeze your core [quads, butt, lower abs and upper abs] and hold for 5 seconds. Release and repeat 10 times.

As you get more comfortable, you can make this exercise more challenging by lifting your toes up and keeping only your heels on the ground. This move is also more difficult the closer your heels are to your butt.

Form tip: Be sure your body is making a straight line from your knees to your shoulders. The only thing touching the floor should be your head, shoulder blades and feet.

PLANK

This move is a simple, push up position exercise. Be sure your hands are directly under your shoulders and your body is making a straight line from your head to your heels. Squeeze your core and pull your lower abdominal muscles in tight. This move is all about having proper form and will not be effective if you are not tightening your core and keeping your tummy tucked in. Hold this exercise for 10 seconds to start and repeat 5 times. As you feel stronger, add 5 second increments to your holds.

Make this move more difficult my lowering to your elbows, again, ensuring your elbows are directly under your shoulders.

SIDE PLANK

This is similar to the plank, except your are on your side...duh! Your bottom leg is your stabilizing leg. Your bottom foot will anchor your to the floor and your top leg can rest on top of the other leg and foot or be slightly behind it for additional support. This move and also be done with your arm straight if being on your elbow is too difficult. Keep your shoulder and elbow [or wrist] in line and your body should make a straight line from your feet to your head, focusing on squeezing your core to keep it up and not letting it sink down. Hold for 10 seconds and then switch to the other side. Repeat 5 times and as you feel stronger, increase by 5 second increments.

Foam Rolling While Pregnant

Foam Rolling While Pregnant

Remember when I talked about common fitness myths during pregnancy? Well, foam rolling while pregnant would have been on the list if I had kept going. Foam Rolling, also known as self-myofascial release, is just a fancy way of saying self- massage. You use a log shaped piece of foam to slowly roll or hold on tight muscles and joints to release those trigger points.

When I first got pregnant, I did a lot of research on what was safe because it was extremely important to me to protect my baby at all costs, especially after losing our first. Much of the information I read said not to foam roll during pregnancy, but I couldn't find hardly anything that explained why you shouldn't foam roll while pregnant. I was finally able to find something that cautioned women in early pregnancy from foam rolling because certain trigger points in your body can induce labor, possibly causing a miscarriage.

I started using my foam roller towards the middle of my second trimester, when my muscles started to feel more sore after working out or just doing every day activities like bending over. As I described in "5 Outdated Pregnancy Myths Debunked" during pregnancy, a hormone called relaxin is released which aids in loosening ligaments to prepare the body for labor when you'll need your hips and pelvis to open easily. Because of your ligaments loosening, your muscles have a to work a little harder which makes even simple tasks feel like a workout. That's another reason exercising while pregnant can be helpful because it keeps those muscles strong.

I now foam roll at least once a day to help loosen my tight and sore back, hips and pelvic muscles. I am careful not to hit those trigger points that could induce labor and always take my time and roll very slowly.

BACK

As your belly gets bigger during pregnancy, your center of gravity gets off centered. Your belly pulls your forward, causing more stress on your back. Foam rolling my back feels amazing after a long day.

To foam roll your back, slowly lower yourself to a sitting position with your legs out in front of you and your knees bent. Roll the foam roller under your butt with your hands on either side to support and help balance yourself. Continue to roll the foam roller back while leaning back until the foam roller is on your lower back. If you have short arms, you may need to go to your elbows. Keep your knees bent and feet planted flat on the ground to help with balance.

You can either slowly roll back and forth on the foam roller for 20-30 seconds, 3-4 times, or if you find an especially tender spot, hold on that spot for 20-30 seconds while taking slow, deep breaths in and out. You can do this for your mid and upper back as well.

HIPS

Most women take a good beating in the hip area during pregnancy. That relaxin hormone really starts to loosen up your hips towards the end of the second trimester which can make even walking feel like torture. Foam rolling the hips can help to improve circulation by breaking down the tight joints and muscles area where blood flow has likely become restricted.

To foam roll your hips, slowly lower yourself onto the foam roller with the hip touching the widest part. Put your elbow  and knee on the ground for support and balance. Your extended leg can either be placed straight out to the side, or slightly in front of you if that makes it easier for your to balance. Your body should be making a straight, diagonal line from the top of your head to your bent knee on the ground. Do not let your hip sink, as this will add extra pressure to your spine and defeat the purpose.

You can either slowly roll back and forth on the foam roller for 20-30 seconds, 3-4 times, or if you find an especially tender spot, hold on that spot for 20-30 seconds while taking slow, deep breaths in and out. Do on both sides of your body.

PELVIS

Oh the pelvis! It is the body part that usually takes the most beating during pregnancy. The weight of your growing uterus and child coupled with the loosening caused by relaxin is medicine for a very sore and painful pelvis. Your pelvic muscles are a very difficult place to stretch so those muscles are naturally a little more weak. Foam rolling this area helps to improve the flexibility and increase the joint range of motion, which will be helpful for mobility during pregnancy and body positioning during delivery.

To foam roll your pelvis, slowly lower to a kneeling position and then on all fours. Lower your upper body so that you are resting your weight on your forearms. Lower your stomach closer to the ground while extending one knee out and placing the foam roller towards the center of the inside of your thigh. Depending on the length of your arms, you belly may end of up touching the ground a little which is fine, as long as it is not being smooshed. Continue to put most of your weight into your arms and keep your tummy and booty squeezed as tight as you can to help support your back and spine. Your other leg should be extended straight out behind you with your knee on the ground for support.

Slowly begin to roll your thigh, moving the foam roller closer into your body. Roll as closely as your belly will allow. You should feel your pelvis stretching as it moves closer in. It is very important to do this one slowly and controlled. It may feel slightly uncomfortable at first but it should not feel painful. As your muscles begin to slowly loosen, it will feel amazing. You may be a little sore the next day, but it should subside if you continue to foam roll regularly.

As always, if you are concerned about the safety of any exercise or activity during pregnancy, you should first consult your doctor. If you give these a try, I would love to know your outcome with a comment below!

5 Outdated Pregnancy Fitness Myths Debunked

5 Outdated Pregnancy Fitness Myths Debunked

When I first found out I was pregnant, I had just decided I would start training to enter my first bikini competition. I was a couple of weeks in to two-a-day workouts consisting of fasted cardio in the morning and strength training in the evening. I was also intermittently fasting and eating a keto diet which was very high in fat and low in carbs.

I knew that the bikini competition was out the window and that I would need to rethink my diet, but I was still determined to have a healthy and fit pregnancy. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I was determined to prove it was possible. Once I announced my pregnancy the naysayers came out of the woodworks telling me I needed to slow down, sit down somewhere or to "be careful". At first, I took comments people made about me wanting to continue my healthy lifestyle offensively, but then I realized that they just weren't informed and didn't know the facts over the myths. Instead of being frustrated about it, I'm choosing to educate.

So here are 5 commons myths and the truth behind them.

1. Myth: It's not safe to workout while pregnant.

Reality: While you certainly want to be more conscious of how you are moving your body while pregnant, it is plenty safe and actually encouraged by the majority of doctors to workout at least 4-5 days a week during pregnancy. The risk of moderate-intensity exercise is very low and do not increase preterm delivery, birth defects, low birth weight, or early pregnancy loss as once believed.

So what's the big deal behind people thinking pregnancy means it's time to sit on your bum and eat chips all day? Well, in the not so distant past, many doctors urged women to slow down or even stop exercising while pregnant. There just wasn't enough research or information to prove it was safe, so they generally erred on the side of caution.

Just some of the benefits moms that workout during pregnancy can experience are: less weight gain, easier and shorter labor and delivery, lower gestational diabetes risk by as much as 27 percent, less back pain, more energy, and easier recovery. I was convinced at the easier and shorter labor and delivery part.

2. Myth: If you weren't working out before becoming pregnant you shouldn't start now.

Reality: Pregnancy is actually the ideal time to get moving. There is nothing wrong with adding moderate exercise like walking or jogging, swimming, or light strength training, even with no prior background in fitness.

The real problem is just the opposite, inactivity. Inactivity during pregnancy can lead to excess weight gain, high blood pressure, aches and pains, and a higher risk for Cesarean section and gestational diabetes. Research shows that between 70 and 80 percent of women that are diagnosed with gestational diabetes later develop Type II diabetes later in life, and their babies are also more likely to become overweight and develop diabetes themselves.

3. Myth: You shouldn't lift weights while pregnant.

I remember being about 20 weeks pregnant around Christmas and at my parent's house for a holiday celebration. I went to pick something up off the ground and everyone jumped out of their seats yelling at me to put it down. I thought maybe it was a bomb or something, then realized they just didn't think it was safe for me to be lifting anything more than a few pounds.

Reality: While it's true that pregnancy floods your body with a hormone called relaxin which loosens ligaments to prepare your body to deliver a baby, moderate-intensity strength training is perfectly safe, even for novices. As long as you are using proper breathing and lifting technique you are more likely to injure yourself picking up your toddler than you are lifting weights in a controlled environment.

4. Myth: You shouldn't do ab exercises while pregnant.

Reality: While doing crunches or other exercises on your back are a no-no once you reach the second trimester (your growing uterus can compress the vena cava, the major vessel that returns blood to your heart, potentially reducing blood flow and making you feel dizzy or nauseated), there a many other ways you can work on strengthing your abs, which will be very beneficial during delivery. Moves like planks or standing ab exercises are safe and beneficial. Check back soon for a post on some of my favorite ab strengthening moves during pregnancy.

5. Your heart rate shouldn't go over 140 beats per minute.

Reality: No one can really prove where this one came from, as there is no concrete evidence to show that this heart rate is the "safe zone" for pregnant women. In reality, there is no one target heart rate for every pregnant woman. Instead, pregnant women should base the intensity of their workout on the RPE, or Rate of Perceived Exertion, which is a scale that focuses on how you feel while working out. A good general rule of thumb is if you can talk while working out, you are fine. Once you become so breathless that you can't get anything out except for huffs and puffs, you have probably overdone it.

I am not a doctor so I will always encourage people to speak with their doctor about exercising while pregnant. However, I am a certified personal trainer and a living testimony to the benefits of keeping a consistent fitness routine throughout pregnancy so I will always encourage women to stay or become active while pregnant, even if it's just walking around the block.

If you would like info on exercising while pregnant or my services, go to the contact page and leave me a message and I will get back to you!

Benefits of Virtual Group Personal Fitness Training

Benefits of Virtual Group Personal Fitness Training

Let's face it...when most people first join a gym, they're usually unsure what they should do once they step inside the building. Some struggle to determine which exercises to do, others simply don't know how to do them (*cough, cough* me).
Whether you're a beginner, you just don't have much fitness knowledge, or you don’t have time to make it to a gym, group virtual fitness classes may be your solution. Joining a virtual group can help build a foundation and structure that you can use to fuel your personal health journey for years to come.
1. Motivation.
It's inspiring and motivating to be interact with other dedicated, like-minded individuals. It doesn't get much more empowering than a session with an encouraging trainer and supportive people all working hard together, even if you aren’t in the same room. Group fitness is a great way to help motivate yourself and others to dig deeper and push harder in workouts.

2. Structure.
Group fitness is a great way to get a workout in without having to think or plan. Each class is structured with a warm-up, a balanced workout and a cool-down.
The warm-up is designed to help you properly raise your heart rate while loosening your joints and muscles before jumping into strenuous activity. The instructor will coach you through each segment of the workout. The cool-down will help you safely lower your heart rate and stretch all the major muscles worked during class.
3. Proper Form.
It's the fitness instructor's job to not only show proper form, but to also make sure that everyone in the group is executing each exercise the right way. Not only is proper form important for your muscles to reap the most out of every exercise, but it also helps eliminate potential injuries.
Cardio kickboxing, bootcamp, spin, Pilates, Insanity--the list goes on. There are several types of group classes offered by gyms and athletic clubs.
4. Variety.
Having a variety of exercises in your weekly workout regimen is a great way to create muscle confusion, which keeps your body guessing and ramps up your metabolism. It also helps prevent boredom.
5. Accountability.
If you're signed up, paid and it's on your schedule, there's a good chance you won't skip it. After a few sessions, chances are you’ll get to know the others in your group and they’ll wonder where you are when you don’t show up. That alone can encourage most people to stick with their plan.
6. Simplicity.
There's really no other way to put it: there’s not much excuse to not make it happen when you need minimum equipment and you are doing it right from home!

Benefits of Virtual Personal Training

Benefits of Virtual Personal Training

Not everyone needs a personal trainer. People who are naturally athletic and who enjoy exercising are typically self-motivated and can develop and maintain a good fitness program on their own. But plenty of people are new to exercise or have had bad experiences in the past that they need to overcome. If you're considering working with a personal trainer, you'll need to decide if you should work with a personal trainer who is based at a gym or rec center, or one who will come to your home or office.

Especially for people who are new to exercise or who have jam-packed schedules, an in-home personal trainer is the way to go. Here are the top five benefits of working with a personal trainer who brings the workout to you.

1. Save time
When you work with a virtual personal trainer, you make the most of your time. There's no packing a bag of clothing and gear, no traveling to the gym, no searching for a parking spot. You’ll meet online with Tiffany at the scheduled time, and you spend your alloted time working out. When time is tight, virtual personal training lets you spend more time getting fit and less time in transit.

2. Privacy and comfort.
Admit it. If your body is less than perfect, it can be intimidating to work out in a public gym. It can feel like all eyes are on you--especially the parts that jiggle when you move. A virtual personal training program lets you work out in the privacy and comfort of your own home. You control the temperature, the music, the cleanliness, and you get to exercise without an audience.

3. Minimum equipment needed.
Virtual personal training typically focuses on exercise techniques that require little or no gear. If you already own fitness equipment, your trainer can include it in your workouts. And if you don't have any gear, don't worry; Tiffany can still give you a great workout. You'll learn to be fit anywhere: at home, at your in-laws' house, in a hotel room, in your office.

4. Accountability.
It's pretty easy to talk yourself out of a trip to the gym. But when the trainer, is waiting on you, all your excuses are out the window. Your scheduled appointments will keep you on track toward your fitness goal, and Tiffany will help keep you motivated to exercise.

Virtual personal training isn't for everyone, but it may be for you! For a complementary initial consultation, contact Tiffany today

Some Important Tips For Staying Fit, Healthy and Beautiful This Summer

Some Important Tips For Staying Fit, Healthy and Beautiful This Summer

Regardless of the season, women want to stay their best and for this, they don’t mind spending a fortune on health and beauty products. But the truth is many of these products come with side effects such as body aches or dryness of the skin as they contain harsh chemicals. In some cases, the side effects are more severe. So, it’s always suggested to avoid the use of harmful skin care or health care products to keep you fit, healthy and beautiful throughout the year.
Since the heat is on for the summer, let’s discuss some important tips for staying fit and healthy:

  • Stay Hydrated: When the temperature goes up, it is essentially important to drink more and more water. You can also consume other beverages like teas, coffees, sodas and juices to keep your skin hydrated and to reduce body heat.

  • Wear lighter Clothes: It has been seen that most of the women prefer to wear bright colors, even in the summers as they feel that brighter colors can grab the attention of more eyeballs. But, this is not true. While going out in the summers, you must wear lighter colors to make you look more attractive.

  • Begin an exercise program: You must involve yourself in some kind of physical activities to keep your body in the best of health. Regular physical activities will make you feel good about yourself. It is not essential to join a health club or a gym, but you can also perform outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and swimming etc.

  • Take Healthy and Nutritious Diet: Avoid fried food and try to consume light and cooling foods as far as possible. Cucumber, watermelons, mung beans and raw salads are some of the best foods to eat in summer. In addition to it, you can also consume organic fruits and vegetables, yogurt, cottage cheese, fish and poultry.

  • Get Some Time For Yourself: In addition to the aforementioned tips, it is also very important to get some time for yourself from your busy schedule. You can spend this time to truly experience the nature either in your city park or in your home lawn. You can also plan a trip to uphills with your family to enjoy nature at its best.

When enjoying the outdoors in scorching summers, don’t forget to wear hats to protect your skin from overexposure. Also, you can use herbal sunscreens without excessive chemicals.

Beating the Holidays

Beating the Holidays

Is it just me or do holidays and food go hand in hand?! But don't holidays and wanting to look good in pictures go hand in hand too?! Ugh, the irony!!! Well holidays don't have to be your downfall. You can stay on track and still look good in your bikini over Memorial weekend! Here's some of my favorite tips for not letting the endless BBQs you'll be hitting up this weekend set you back!

1. ALWAYS eat something before going to a holiday party. The plates of appetizers and dessert trays will be far less appealing if you eat a healthy meal at home beforehand. Even if you just have a protein bar, or my favorite...SHAKEOLOGY, in the car on the way there, that’s better than going to the party hungry.

2. Watch the alcohol intake. You can pack on serious calories with alcohol. And it’s not just obvious things like daiquiris and margaritas. Beer, wine and mixed drinks are all loaded with calories. If you really want to have a drink then consider it a cheat and have just ONE light beer or glass of wine. My favorite go-to mixed drink is a vodka-water with lime because it still has flavor when you add the lime, but I'm skipping the extra calories a soda or juice would add by using water instead. Also, clear liquors typically have less calories. Try to avoid drinking alcoholic beverages for the rest of the week.

3. When attending a holiday meal with family and friends, offer to bring something. I think people actually appreciate having a healthy alternative to all the junk that’s usually served at parties and get-togethers. Most people won’t even realize it’s a clean item!

4. Avoid “emotional eating”! It’s stressful this time of year with all the shopping, expenses, visiting relatives, traveling, etc.  Many times when we’re stressed we overeat and don’t even realize what we’re putting in our mouths. Find some time to relax with a cup of tea, meditate for 10 minutes or call a friend who always makes you laugh.

5. Keep up with your exercise routine! I know it’s tough when you're busy to try to fit in exercise with the gazillion other things there are to do. My workouts are 22-30 minutes long...everyone should be able to fit that in.

Remember, it’s okay to indulge a bit every once in awhile. Life isn’t supposed to feel like deprivation – you’re allowed to enjoy yourself.  But by practicing awareness while eating, you’ll not only get more pleasure out of eating, you’ll be taking better care of yourself while you're at it!

Join a Challenge Group

Join a Challenge Group

Are you aware that 80% of people FAIL at what ever weight loss program or lifestyle change they choose within just three weeks? Not because the “program” they chose wasn’t good enough, but because they lacked SUPPORT. Think about how much having accountability does for you at work, school and accomplishing general tasks and goals. Yet you do not have that it for one of the HARDEST tasks you face….weight loss.

If you join the gym, and you don’t show up on Monday, is the gym calling you asking where you were and did you do well over the weekend? No. Actually, in some cases they are banking that you DON’T return. When you are dealing with stress and wanting to eat, does lean cuisine have a forum to hear you out? No. My point is, having an advocate, or health coach that specifically has YOUR best interest in mind, provides you your BEST chance at success. Sure, at the end of the day, YOU are the one doing the work, regardless, but, I am there WITH you.

I have different types of support, if you are willing to invest in the right tools.

  • 1-1 coaching
  • “General” private support group on Facebook And lastly
  • Challenge Groups

Challenge groups are PRIVATE small groups that I run monthly on the Facebook “Group” platform.

What do you get from my Challenge Group?
*ME as your coach
*Other top coaches on my team
*24/7 Coaching
*Individualized Support
*Motivation
*Accountability
*Weekly Meal Plans for 60 days
*Structured Fitness Programs
*Healthy Tips & Recipes
*Nutrition Shakes

The benefit to the Challenge Groups is that you get a TON of positive feedback, support while you LEARN. There is always someone “there” to answer or hear your questions. You will both teach and learn from others and will be empowered in the process. There are some accountability guidelines to remain in the group, but as long as you continue to try, commit to the program tools and SHOW UP, you will ALWAYS have unconditional support.

I start ONE new challenge group a month. If you are interested in learning more about this platform, how “online accountability” works, how I can personally empower you to succeed and what it takes to qualify, fill out my free consultation form and I will email you to set up a time to chat!

The easy to use Wufoo form builder helps you make forms easy, fast, and fun.

It's great if you're looking to make extra money or even enough to quit your full time job. If you're interested in Coaching long term, you can make 6 figures within a couple of years, which you do by building a team of coaches. Once you start building a team, in addition to commission, you get what's called Team Bonuses, which can pay up to several thousands per week. Coaching is not only tons of fun, but it's incredibly rewarding!

What is the ONE qualification you need to become a Coach?

You absolutely have to be passionate about helping others!  Period.
When you become a coach, you...
      • Get paid weekly - You receive a 25% commission on anything somebody buys from Beachbody using one of your links. Somebody purchases a copy of P90X, you get a check for $29.96.
      • Get 25% discounts on all the products, including merchandise -  If you're using supplements today like I am, just the discount savings alone on let's say P90x Protein Bars and P90X recovery drink covers the $15 monthly website fee.
      • Have unlimited income potential - You can, if you choose to, create a team of coaches as well.  You can create a business based off of a team of people who are passionate about the same things that you are.  I tend to attract women who are passionate about health and fitness, specifically clean eating stay at home momma's. But I also have some individuals who want to grow a business and create a full time income!  The saying you attract who you are is completely true!
      • Have training from the TOP coaches in Beachbody
      • Get paid to be healthy and fit and help others get healthy and fit!
      • Have MY 24/7 Support and 1:1 training
      • You can put in as much time or as little as you want

      Intangibles:
      • I have found a new passion for health and fitness and have never felt better. I'm not trying to sell you a miracle pill, extreme diet, or a bunch of vitamins you probably don't need, this is the REAL DEAL!  Nothing in this program is easy, you have to work for it!
      • I have increased confidence in all aspects of my life. I finished 90 days+ of one of the most physically challenging activities I've ever encountered.  I lost weight, toned up, and I feel amazing!
      • I can give non-expert nutritional advice based upon my experience. I don't have a degree in nutrition, but I know what worked for me and am helping others figure out what works for them.
      • I can help YOU get in the best shape of your life!

           HOW DO YOU SUCCEED?
You succeed at being a Beachbody Coach by putting the needs of others first.  By reaching out to people and offerring your support and guidance.  For me, I enroll my customers into my challenge groups.  That is the place where I have day to day contact with them, I can support, motivate and encourage them to start and finish a fitness program.  I provide them with tips and recipes plus all sorts of different strategies to get into shape.  To succeed you follow the structure of inviting people to a challenge group, enrolling them into the group, helping them succeed and then eventually people become coaches as well!  You succeed by leading by example, inspiring others to get into shape and by being motivated, driven and passionate about what you do!  Of course, you don't have to know all the answers at first.  You just have to be motivated to get started!!!
WHO IS THE COMPANY BEHIND THE COACH BUISNESS OPPORTUNITY?
Beachbody is a successful 10-year-old, $250+ million corporation based in Southern California. We create and sell the nation’s most popular in-home fitness and weight-loss products—high-quality, well-manufactured DVD workout programs, gear, and nutritional supplements that have been proven to work. When you become a Beachbody Coach, you’re teaming up with a solid, stable company and a best-selling brand.
DO I NEED TO BE A FITNESS EXPERT?
No, you don’t need to be a fitness or weight-loss expert to become a Beachbody Coach. You just need to be ready to commit to changing your life and inspiring others to do the same.  It is important to be a product of the product!
WHAT KINDS OF HELP AND SUPPORT WILL I RECEIVE?
Once you become a coach on the Dream Team you will be added to our closed facebook team page.  There you will receive updates, information, tips, and tools to help you grow your business.  This is your place to check in each day and get answers to your questions. You also will be given the option to be a part of my coach apprenticeship program.  This is a 60 day group that teaches you everything you need to know about running a challenge group, how to find people to invite, how to get them started, what program to choose for them, and how to run a successful challenge group.  You will be given all the tools that helped me to be successful so that you do not have to re-invent the wheel.  You will be given my 90 day challenge group structure, 30 day Shakeology and Clean Eating Group information, along with other valuable business building tools.  You will not have to figure it out on your own.  You do not run your first challenge group by yourself.  Instead you are an apprentice coach in your first group.  I run the challenge but you get to invite 3-5 customers into the group!

HOW DOES BEACHBODY PROMOTE ITS PRODUCTS?
We spend millions of dollars every week advertising our home fitness programs on the major TV stations and cable networks. (You’ve probably seen our famous infomercials for programs such as P90X, Turbo Jam, and Hip Hop Abs, as well as our magazine and Internet ads.) Millions of people already know about Beachbody, and every time we run an infomercial, we get thousands of new customers. We want those customers to shop through your store, so you get the commission on those sales!
You don't have to start coaching alone. It is my job to provide you with the tools to succeed!  Check out the apprenticeship program.

Complete the form and I will set up a time to chat and discuss the options for my Apprenticeship program.
